May I also commend your interpreters on their handling of the very difficult simultaneous interpretation task they are given on these live broadcasts. However, might I take issue with one choice of English vocabulary? Some of your translators use the word \"gain\" both when they are referring to \"seats won\" and \"seats taken away from another party\". This is confusing especially when used in sentences close together. \"The DPJ has gained [in this case \"won\"] 8 seats\" and a few sentences later, \"The LDP in the single-seat districts has gained [\"taken away from another party\"] seats in Gifu, Niigata and other prefectures.\" May I suggest that in the future the interpreters simply use \"win\" and \"gain\" consistently to differentiate between the two situations? \"The DPJ will win fewer than the 50 seats it achieved in 2004. The LDP is expected to gain at least 10 seats over its showing of six years ago.\" Thank you for your attention and consideration.
